I'm a dues paying DSA member, and I know not-yet socialists need the modifier, but "democratic socialism" is a redundancy
Always connect it with democracy. Social democracy or democratic socialism.

Socialism is democratic. Anything else is not Socialism. Remember Hilter used the word 'Socialist' as propaganda to suck workers in, because he knew workers liked it. Because e.g. unions helped their conditions
