In case you missed it, Trump shut down IRS direct file, which lets Americans easily file their taxes without having to pay giant corporations to do it for them. Who does he think he works for?
I have used that service and it really made filing easy. Previously, you would be directed to eFile via a 3rd-party service. Those services would deceptively say free but then charge a high cost for filing with your State or aggressively try to upsell you their product at every turn.
