Morning friends. When I saw corporate media airing Trump's rambling nonsense for an hour - uninterrupted and largely un-fact-checked - it pissed me off. Why are we poising the well of public opinion with his lies & propaganda?

Independent media and all other media outlets should be fact checking Trump every time he opens his mouth. He spouts out so much garbage and without any fact checking to call him out, then his cult has nothing to keep them from believing everything he says. Jerome Powell did it right, in real time.
I assume your question is rhetorical because everyone knows the answer is money. America's guiding principle is greed. We need to stop ascribing the values of what America was, to what America currently is. America isn't succumbing to fascism. It is being crushed under the weight of its own greed.

That "well" of public opinion is full of, well, opinions. And some people's opinions differ greatly from yours. So isn't it really a cesspool of public opinion? Or a smorgasbord of public I think I understand now: You have a case of: "Everyone I Don't Like Is Hitler" syndrome.
