Blue states should sign an interstate compact imposing economic sanctions on states that send their national guard, uninvited, into any of the compact member states. Refuse to do business with states that violate other states’ sovereignty.

I think our existing Constitution needs radical revision going forward, but for now at least this would get shut down immediately.

Unless Federalized by the President, National Guard present outside their own state (except where invited by the other state’s governor) is likely illegal in all sorts of ways.

Each blue state should withhold federal taxes when this happens. They should also sign a mutual defense compact with each other.
