- Inflation will rise in the U.S., interest rates will stay stubbornly high or go higher.

Trump tariff are a blessing to other countries consumers and a nightmare for U.S. consumers.
Increase the supply of domestic goods in tariffed countries resulting in lower prices.
Those counties will find other markets = stability and higher stock prices

It's all so stupid. What's the point of a tariff on fine Swiss watches? There is no US watch industry to protect. The days when the Swiss imitated US watches were in the last century and they're not coming back. The Waltham Watch factory closed in 1949 and it ain't re-opening.
