Just gonna hold this new unfolding mystery and the fear I have about facing it head on and just kinda wait it out to see what it's gonna be when it's ready to present itself.

I think this is healthier? It's for sure harder. But also less chaotic and fraught.

That's kinda like one of the ways to manage intrusive thoughts? To just be like "well, that sure is a thought I'm having" and move on. Not over analyze or freak out and pretend it didn't happen.

It is... annoying how much of healing involves letting go of control and chilling the fuck out😅

  1. Right? That's exactly it, yes. And yes for intrusive thoughts, as well. You can't react too strongly to it one way or the other because that gives it too much space but if you try to totally ignore it - it gets grumpy about not getting enough space and gets louder.
