if you like pro wrestling, it's guaranteed most of any roh/aew ppv will be enjoyable. if you like serialized comic book style narratives that feature wrestling and you require some story beyond two people competing for bigger paychecks (like a real sport), you might not be able to invest interest.

Wrestling is best when out of ring story and in ring combine into a melange of awesomeness. See Hangman's fall and redemption. Both times. But I watch wrestling for the wrestling, so in ring is always going to be important.

  1. yeah I definitely enjoy storylines but it being a pro wrestling show, putting wrestling in the center is key. it also allows a guy like ar fox or Harley Cameron or Kevin Knight to get fans by their own virtue rather than booking decisions.

  2. The accusations of "King of the Indies" that AEW/RoH used to get were not entirely unwarranted (as to your point, there was a lot of 2 people wrestling to find out who's better), but that's what indies have to do and it isn't necessarily a bad thing.
