I usually respect your opinions, but this one is pretty short-sighted. It seems clear to me that this is a pretext for sending ICE to intimidate voters in blue precincts. There doesn’t have to be a legal mechanism when he has a devoted paramilitary agency.

Isn’t this another action that would disenfranchise the very voters that he has relied on to win elections too? I don’t doubt that some Republican state legislators would comply to please him, but I’m not sure it would work out for them.

the learned helplessness is so weird. There have been some significant victories so far this year from people fundamentally standing in place and telling Trump to go fuck himself. And people are desperate not to learn from them.
