A quip I've been using a lot in politics: "It all runs together." Racism, sexism, abuse, violence, nativism, etc...
There's a reason a lot of these guys are assholes, hard to figure out where the start is but there's something really rotten down there.

I think it takes a great deal of courage to confess to the troubles of family when the common reaction is to bury shame. I'm still incredibly private. Maybe one day... Thank-you for sharing.
