I ruptured my distal biceps tendon in my dominant arm 18 months ago. The surgery left me with nerve irritation (it's a sensation nerve), so my entire arm from my elbow to wrist hurts. Marijuana helps tremendously. And the mellowing me out part is awesome. I'm still trying to adjust to retirement.
Sorry to hear it. Chronic pain and especially neurological pain is debilitating. I'm starting to lose the ability to move my left leg. Retirement has been a really tough adjustment, neglected. Somehow I've found my way.

Not neglected, not gonna lie

I firmly believe people are resilient, but there is no reason to suffer through resiliency without any assistance. It's why I am an advocate for medical methods of this sort. I didn't always think this way, but since about 2007 or so I have gradually shifted further left in my thinking.
