    Yes, and not just the Catholic or Protestant Church. The patriarchal hierarchy in many organised religions, with the reverence taught for those positions, is ripe for manipulation, abuse, secrecy and reversed guilt. The same tactics are used with the famous, rich and powerful. And it works.
