If Putin convinced Trump that he, Putin, could arrange for Trump to live forever in heaven and not be punished for his sins, Trump would fire the nukes on London, Paris and Berlin before lunch.

I think you're right here- but I also think that the saving grace is that I do NOT think Putin can convince trump of this.
I feel like he retains a mental image of Russia that is very cold war failing nation and not modern enough and similar, and is unlikely to be dispelled.

It occurs to me this might be why RFK Jr ended up in Trump's circle, especially if this has been going on a little longer than we know and traditional medicine has only given Trump answers he doesn't like.

We can be certain that trump's health was discussed with putin during their private meeting in the Beast in Alaska, and also that putin knew / knows about trump's rapidly deteriorating health, and that he adjusted russia's carrot AND stick control of trump because of this.
