Sadly, mine was the Reader's Digest condensed version but the illustrations are superb. Darryl K. Sweet is my favorite artist.

I should pay more attention to illustrators. I don't always know who drew the illustrations of the vast majority of the books I have unless there's a mention of them. I don't think the publication matters. It's a beautiful story with equally lovely illustrations.
