Trump wants to arrest and execute Democrats for telling service members they don't have to obey illegal or unconstitutional orders. Nothing says, "I'm a lawless dictator and traitor to democracy" like this.

Telling soldiers to violate the chain of command is not "reminding them of their oath." It cannot be up to each soldier to decide if his orders are legal and then refuse to obey them. That would sow chaos. Imagine if that happened during a war. Has Trump ordered soldiers to shoot civilians?

I'm a Dem volunteer who has supported Dem and opposed Trump for a long time. Imagine if an officer in the armed forces told the soldiers under his command to violate the orders of the Commander-in-Chief. He would be court martialed. Trump was wrong to speak as he did; so were the Congressmen.
