Democrats could have granted statehood to most of DC snd all of Puerto Rico with a majority vote, as some of us were strongly advocating in 2021. Four new senators right there. What a failure of imagination our leaders have.

Or even lifted a cap on the number of House members that was set in 1929 (!?) Also, instead of bland performative reaction, the Dobbs decision should’ve been a springboard for a mass push for Court reform. Wouldn’t have succeeded but it would’ve gotten the ball rolling & de-normalized its corruption

Failure to inspire is their true failure. That derives from answering to the billionaire lobby that controls both parties. Until Dems free themselves from their donorlords their popularity will hover at 30% and they will fail to regain any power.
