There is only one political party responsible for gun violence in America.

The political party that has done nothing to solve it.

The political party that has blocked any efforts to solve it.

The Republican Party.

  1. Supreme Court has knocked down any attempts by states and localities to restrict guns. Republicans + Supreme Court = our current dire situation.

  2. I have guns. I have lots of guns including AR style guns. I grew up with guns and have guns from the 19th century.

That being said, the only people who need large clip mags are law enforcement, ranchers and military. If you are in a fight and need more than 10 shots, you are already dead.

  3. I'm not big into conspiracy theories but I'm starting to think Miller, hegseth and trump are paying people off to commit these atrocious acts, specifically in blue states/cities. Why aren't we hearing more on the guy who murdered state reps in MN?

  4. GUN LAWS MATTER -- tho' not enough. Firearms are the leading killer of US youth aged 1-19; mortality rates even in the "best" US states are >10x higher than in comparable countries. While trashing our laws, let's not forget 2A & awful Supreme Court decisions, laws, & amendments that got us here.

  5. C'mon man. BOTH parties are to blame. Democrats have tiptoed around this issue for years and years. And the vast majority posting on this site are still just offering variations on fucking "thoughts and prayers." They have never put up a serious, unified fight on this issue.

FUCK YOU AND YOUR FUCKING GUNS

  6. The second amendment is to maintain the balance of power between the people and the government. The insurance cost is abuse of that right, minimizing loss of life and maintaining armorment is the difficult task to which we must address.

  7. Republicans will happily curtail freedom to vote; freedom of speech; the press; pursuit of happiness, but don't touch the fucking guns....

  8. Parents who send their children to school must stand up against the Republican Party who refuses to do not solve these school shootings. Any parent of school children I know now I suggest they home school their children in groups where they have safety of knowing their children will not be killed.

  9. But but but they are the party of law and order and Jesus and right to life and…oh never mind

  10. From doing nothing about gun reform, feeding children, children’s health care, and holding pedophiles accountable: Republicans don’t give a fuck about children.

  11. It was never about 2A nor safety in communities. If it were, red states with high crime rate, wouldn't send our military to DC to conduct a police call nor to roll a red carpet out for a despot. Ghislaine would stay in a cell, seditious conspirators no pardon +no pardons with ambassadorships.

  12. The political party that gets it's kickbacks from the NRA will never care to solve the gun problem in the United States of America.

  13. We have military in the streets with criminals and pedophiles in the White House. Don't give me any crap about needing weapons to fight off a tyrannical government.

Not only haven’t they solved it, they’ve made it much, much worse. We used to have sensible gun laws in Missouri but now anybody can open carry any gun, anytime, anywhere. It’s almost easier to buy a handgun than a bottle of liquor

  15. Don’t forget the NRA’s complicity in this moral failure. Also don’t forget the NRA spent $55M+on electing Trump in 2016, some of the money came from Russia. It has been alleged that Russia infiltrated the NRA as well as other RW organizations (material is online).

  16. The NRA is in bed with same Republicans…nothing will change as long as the electorate keeps electing Republicans who keep squashing efforts to curb gun violence.

  17. Well let's not forget that they were actually pretty keen on gun control back in the 60's when they were afraid of the Black Panthers who were quite well-armed at the time...

  18. Couldn’t we have sent our “thoughts and prayers” to “Big Balls” instead of the National Guard?

  19. Republicans: Gender dysphoria is a mental illness!

Republicans: It’s not the guns, it’s the mentally ill!

Ok, how about funding to support and treat mental illness?

    Republicans: no way

How about background checks to flag the mentally ill?

    Republicans: no way

    Then what?

    Republicans: 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

  22. If you want a good republican perspective on “guns” and the resulting hypocrisy that will turn your stomach, watch Jon Stewert’s interview with OK Senator Nathan Dahm. Stewert “surgically” exposes Dahm’s hypocritical viewpoint which is the voice of all Republicans. Unbelievable. Great interview.
