  1. The Trump Smithsonian team insists that the Trail of Tears was a joyous, raucous demonstration in support of bringing back the name “Redskins” for the Washington football team.

  2. I expect construction to begin on the Fuhrer museum any day now. Museums are there to present and teach history - the good and bad. Showing only good things isn't history, it's propaganda

  3. He has never been in any of the Smithsonian museums. They both chronicle the darkness of parts of our history and celebrate accomplishments.

  4. Alternate realities, alternative facts. Typical. One is reminded of Soviet policies during the Cold War.

  5. Yeah, being someone else’s property wasn’t so bad, neither was life in a coal camp, or on a reservation. Being mangled by machinery was just the cost of economic development. Periodically, management just had to show who was boss by shooting a few workers. Glorious days to be celebrated for sure.

  6. Man constantly shit-talking his country complains that museums shit-talk the country (aka define slavery as "bad"). I'm pretty sure this is what rapid mental decline looks like.

  7. Woke people always talking about how bad slavery was. But what about all the good things? Like...ummm...yeah, I guess it was pretty bad. 🤦‍♂️

  8. Pettyman Smallcock should address the Howard University undergraduates along these lines.

I think the results would be droll.

  9. Every time that creep calls America “HOT” I’m reminded of the clip of him and his 90s caterpillar eyes disco dancing and clapping alongside Epstein, pointing out hot teens.

  10. I honestly don’t know what to do when I read these posts from the Orange Shitgibbon - scream or cry. I guess both are applicable. He has to go!!!

  11. There is a word for this.

It is "revisionism". It is very popular with fascists and Stalinists alike. They just like to hear the good things and omit all the bad things. That way you make sure people do not learn anything from museums.

  12. Painfully obvious this motherfucker has NEVER been to any of these museums, instead one of his Nazi goons must have shared with him select exhibits about black people.

  13. This is history, this is truth, however uncomfortable. It is not awake, nor asleep; it is reality. Slavery, one human owning and exploiting another, was bad. Poverty in America is a shameful reality. Erasing it doesn’t change history.

  14. "hottest" country? Why does he sexualize everything. Apparently Trump sees the country only as if the country was a 15 yr old girl . . . oh wait, that is all he sees, besides the mirage of a Nobel prize . . .

  15. Remember: Confederate general statues are VITAL to remembering history, but the fact that there is an entire museum dedicated to African American History and Culture will need to be shuttered because Woke is not History.

  16. These are either the most delusional humans on the planet or the most unequivically stupidest humans on the planet. Should we check for a pulse?

  17. Paris Hilton, in high end linen ensemble drawing inspiration from Raiders and the other Indiana Jones movies, Nazi-punching Trump shouting "'That's hot' doesn't belong in the museum!"

  18. Just spent the day in several Smithsonian museums (incl. African American History) and can report that the rollback has not yet begun. This to my surprise and delight after watching squads of tactical vested folks stroll leisurely through our city menacingly.

  19. Do people go to history museums to learn about brightness and the future? Is that really a thing? And wasn’t slavery actually horrible???

  20. I remember my kid trying on a glove from an Apollo era spacesuit at Sithson's Castle. I don't remember much hating on America.

  21. So, I always thought one of the examples of American "success" was -- that we realized how bad slavery was and (eventually) abolished it. That isn't a story that Trump wants told? He thinks emancipation was a failure? What kind of American is he?

  22. Check out Air & Space, which celebrates American achievements? I don’t think the Asian Art Museum is anti-American, btw.
