  2. Thank you for this,,Im 58 I have gone from 247 to 126 lbs was on a walker after back injury for 20 years I started lifting in June I dont know how far I can go but after seeing this I know I have to keep trying.

  3. Since I wrote this--- I confess with teaching and starting up a whole school (@resistanceschool.bsky.social !) I've been off my training game. :(

    I'm trying to fix that. But one thing I have learned is to go easy on myself and my nervous system. The iron will be there when I'm back on track.

  4. i think an important point that would complement your article is how having friends or just mates to excercise with can help to make excercise not just something good for your health, but also is part of a ritual you do in order to maintain community. it helped me to become more consistent.
