I’ve got #Dateline S23:E18 on in the background while I’m working. HOW do so many women fall for it when a man tells her he works for the CIA/FBI/M16? 99% of the time it’s code for “I’m married”. I want to reach through the TV and shake her!

I am a retired federal government employee. I know people who actually worked for “intelligence.” As a military brat, I knew not to say anything. 99.9% of those employees WON’T say anything, even after retirement.

I'm watching the 24-7 Dateline channel these days. I just can't watch too much cable news--there's too much Trump. I think some women are just desperate; they can't live alone. So sad.

Also, they legally have to show ID to identity themselves. So if you ask, they have to show. Otherwise, ya walk away.
