At this point, it feels like things'll get worse regardless so what does she actually have to lose, really?
Dr. Monarez is a scientist whose research was in the field of infectious disease and pandemic preparedness. Intelligent + highly educated + female. Three strikes, she's out.

My assumption going in at the start of the year was that would be EVERYONE in government’s response. To all this. That every crazy edict would be met with a request to see some paperwork on that. It hasn’t really gone like that so far. At least not nearly enough. But we ARE getting there.
