I’m walking past humvees in the the nation’s capital, seeing viral images of Black and brown people being disappeared by masked agents in broad daylight, and Trump is saying law enforcement should “knock the hell out of” them. But the trending debate is over words Dems shouldn’t say. I hate it here.

While I'm all for resisting language, why did 'disappeared' stick? Was kidnapped taken? Or was that word 'disappeared'? Or enslaved? Or trafficked? Or sex-trafficked? Or 'trumped'? So many better choices...

But I'm with Nichols, too. Some of that language needs to be disappeared immediately.

Looking in from the outside, what I see is Dems, liberals, leftists independents all trying to put each other into little boxes they can disagree with, while their country has now become a fascist state. Setting the right priority and thinking strategically and tactically seems to be beyond them.
