🚨 Yet again Ted Cruz and Steve Scalise are trying to sneak in a moratorium on state GenAi legislation.

If passed states can no longer enact laws for transparency, child safety, privacy, environmental protection etc.

We got 3 days to stop this. Call now!

  1. This is what he just promised the Saudis at his “business forum”. They must be pressuring him since he failed last time.

  2. Unfortunately, I live in Kyrgyzstan.

But I will say this: AI is not the true enemy. Battling a computer algorithm is not the real battle the wise would do now.

The battle is the human heart. It is inside you. Man has lost capacity to love.

Burn with love to heal wounds. Forget about AI.

  4. One would think that sooner or later, these stupid motherfuckers would stop doing shit like this if they didn't want to hear people's very aggressive thoughts on the matter.

    Hello,
My name is (inset name here), I am your constituent from (insert your location here).
Ted Cruz and Steve Scalise are yet again trying to sneak in a moratorium against State Ai Legislation through the National Defense
Authorization Act (NDAA).
If passed this sneaky move would mean states who are in the process of legislating, and in many cases, already have legislated on Al, would now be barred from enacting any laws .
This means laws tackling transparency of datasets, privacy, consumer protections, environmental protections, even child safety regulations would pause.
States are leading the way in tackling this technology, and have the right and ability to act.
I urge you to vote "NO" to a moratorium on state Al laws in the NDAA.
Thank you

  6. This is especially bad because there are now children’s toys which use AI which have been shown to be unsafe, giving children instructions on where to find knives and matches, as well as apparently sex positions

  7. Why do they keep preaching "states rights" when it comes to human rights but will force states into submission when they want corporations to do whatever they want?
