I think it's funny/sad how mad the Peak Reddit is about the scout cannon exploit, or certain that the devs are going to patch it out of this (co-op) game because it's "unbalanced"
You see this attitude in even so many single player games where players on social media demand that exploits or bugs be patched out for "balance" or to ensure only "worthy" Gamers get achievements or are able to win the game; who. fucking. cares!

probably a good chunk comes from the transition from competitive multiplayer games into esports and especially the craze for "hero shooters" where instead of every character being identical they are all different
