It actually really sucks watching people lionize Newsom for "fighting" because he has good comms people and tell trans people we essentially need to willingly sacrifice ourselves for a candidacy he hasn't announced yet and are terrible people if we're not eagerly doing so.
This man had Nazis on his podcast and agreed with them when they wanted my wife and I to be treated as criminally dangerous to children.
Understand that what we have learned from watching all of you praise him and chalk up his embrace of transphobia as "being imperfect" is that we don't matter.

Did he agree with the Nazis about treating you and your wife as criminally dangerous to children or did he agree that trans athletes are unfair to cis female athletes? I tried to do searches for this but came up empty-handed? Would you mind educating me?

Y’all matter. God help us if he’s the candidate in 2028 because a social media manager did a good job trolling. Gotta work to make sure someone else is. I’m glad he’s doing one right thing but he’s trash.

Everyone fights, and no one quits. I won't hesitate to twist Newsom's arm until it breaks when he starts to mouth hatred against the trans community. The enemy of my enemy is not my friend, but he is a convenience of war.

This really is a litmus test. Many of you think we're just too small a population to matter, that we should be sacrificed for the "greater good" and "preserving democracy."
And if that's what you think, fine. Just don't expect us to gleefully accommodate a future without us in it.
