it was a HATE CRIME because he is a gay Indigenous man.
Say those words. Do not dance around it. He wasn't "killed in a shooting." He was murdered in a hate crime.
Not just that, they were harassed by the community around them, leading up to this murder. One person pulled the trigger, but it was a group effort to harm this couple.
