Oh, I’m about to dig into @elienyc.bsky.social’s latest book Bad Law, but I saw an interview lightbulbs went off when he said, “Every law before 1965 is unconstitutional.” We were functionally an apartheid state before the VRA.

Aren't we still? A travesty that we needed an act to protect an amendment. Yet, we still are fighting amongst ourselves, clinging to fear of the other, lying about our internal biases. Fears stoked by wealthy capitalists to keep us divided. If we don't unite as a human race, we are doomed to fail.
