Very annoyed that so far two recent books from some of my favourite authors are Audible exclusives.
These are authors I hoped would do better.
I was ready to buy them, but not from Audible.

Some* "Audible Exclusives" are available to libraries through The Palace Project.
Of course, this still doesn't mean that the majority of libraries have access to these titles and Audible exclusives are bad.
*I don't know how many. I have listened to one.

Sadly, wide audiobook streaming pays us under 50c per stream and having an Audible exclusive, for even 90 days,can pay $3.50 per unit. We have to make a return on our investment to create more audio. Shaming authors for the shitty choices were forced to make to get income isn't helpful.

Screw Amazon. I'm taking my ebook off of Kindle exclusive even though Unlimited brings me pennies per month! The audiobook of 'Crew of Exiles' is already available everywhere!
