no paywall because i know how everyone feels about substack right now but i'm too busy to migrate. but i have too many thoughts and feelings to not write right now, so that's that.

I just ordered a vintage copy of Paper Lion on ebay so I could use the front of the dust jacket to frame -- it's a book that altered my life on many ways, good and bad. It arrived today and turns out it's a nearly perfect first edition and I cannot bring myself to cut up the dust jacket.
