  1. I can see that. But I’m absolutely not saying it’s unavoidable, I’m saying that to fight it we need to take into account the forces that are driving it. And to do that, I think we need to unsentimentally, unflinchingly admit that western capital (a) drives policy and (b) doesn’t mind genocide.
