Jon Stewart, along with several of the first responders who became very sick because of the toxins, basically had to BEG congress to reauthorize the First Responders Bill.
The first responders risked everything that day to help other people & they had to beg that the help continue.

This image of the "towers" always deeply affects me. I was outside the country on business when 9/11 happened & didn't get home for another 10 days. I arrived at Newark & walked through customs with this outside the windows. Many of us were in tears as this was the moment that it all became real

As a CCRN I was stationed at Bethesda Naval Hospital on 9/11 - 16 miles from the Pentagon.
As of today I WILL NEVER EVER EVER forgive - the deserving victims of the 9/11 attacks - who are not provided the medical and financial care they are still fighting for!
