I hope people realize how absolutely fucked this situation is.
This isn’t normal. People are resigning all over the place because the government is mishandling our data, ruining our public health services, and generally making Americans less safe.
Is this being covered by the Vichy Media? If what he asserting is true, it is possible that we may need to completely abandon the SSN system and start over. Further, all of our personal information could be out on the dark web, essentially making most citizens susceptible to identity theft.

Yep, I think that if you ever oust this regime, every single person in the US will need to be issued with a new SSN.
The "good news" is that it will be a fantastic opportunity to begin with a modern purpose built system...
