A peace agreement with Putin is a contradiction in terms.
I don’t think it’s too cynical to say that he only uses language “operationally” — to get others to do what’s in his interest. Rather than the usual uses of language to communicate facts and establish mutually beneficial relationships.
There is a zero percent chance Putin will meet with Zelensky to negotiate a settlement. Trump is a Russian asset and a traitor. Everyone knows this but MAGAs don’t care.
