the entire CHUD demographic really does believe video game rules apply, where you just bust into a guy's house and steal his stuff and if you go back one respawn cycle he'll be all "welcome, stranger!"
Meanwhile irl the entire community around them is morphing into a networked organism with the goal of harming them in any way possible. I’d be avoiding taquerias, bars, hotels, really depending on service workers in any way whatsoever.
