Every generation has confronted challenges but millennials, Gen Z, and every generation after have grown up with increasingly frictionless lives. AI will only compound this. Our children deserve experiences that allow them to learn, critically think about, and reckon with life’s challenges.

Continuing to dismiss their experiences as challenges we’ve seen before fails to take into account how social media, online shopping, and now AI have drastically changed daily lived experiences. Adults should push back on those technologies in schools but also in workplaces and at home.
