What a book: edited by Matt Cheney, published by the excellent people at Third Man (check their list, it's strong), foreword by Kelly. Carol wrote weird great stories for 50 years —— you never know what's coming next. Any day a new Emshwiller book comes out is a celebration so thanks all for this.

20 years later I still marvel at Carol. I'd meet up with her, we'd chat happily away and I'd check in to see if she had anything new. Next thing I'd know, she'd have a book out! All I could do was get a copy, maybe review it, shake my head, keep checking in, laugh all the way home.
Ha! I don't know that I'd have bought that zine, either. Don't know that I'm fond of them, but there are so many where it is I, Schmuck, at the center, oh well!
