1/ Any graffiti should be removed in time, and some of the recent representations of the flag are so badly done as to only be categorised as such. They are disrespectful of both property and the flag. If it's done well and respectfully, that's different.
2/ Just as many of our towns and cities 'twin' with their equivalents from all sorts of places, there has long been a tradition in the UK of flying flags in solidarity, with both peoples and movements. There is no reason for us not to continue doing so now and in the future.
