  1. Props to this kid, and f the interviewers. This kid, and all of the others who made it out alive will have PTSD and are irreparably harmed.

  2. Back in the 70's, a mother in my small suburb, her daughter was brutally murdered. The news showed up & cornered her w a question of how she feels. She let out a tirade of swear words & asked how they would feel if their daughter was found in a garbage can. They walked away. Never forgot that.

  3. The media hasn’t had a semblance of morality for quite some time now. Mainstream news media is a joke. Unfortunately it’s all about ratings and profit.

  4. A parent or care giver should have been present (maybe they were?) to monitor

    • if child wanted to speak voluntarily
    • if child showed signs of added distress

Maybe giving a child their voice helped the child in some way, but w/o monitoring could have harmed them.

  6. I disagree. He was one of the best on site witnesses I have ever heard being interviewed. He did an amazing job and the media did a good job asking questions. The boy and the media displayed a lot of empathy.
