  1. RIP to a Talented actress. You never heard anybody say anything crappy about her. That means alot in Hollywood now-a-days.

  2. She played many roles, even Jayne Mansfield, but she will always be Jennifer Marlowe to me. No one could have played that role but her. May she rest in peace with my gratitude for the laughs.

  5. How sad to hear. She was so beautiful. Probably the best thing I will remember her for was the prank she pulled on Co-star Lynda Carter during an interview where she acknowledged accomplishments such as completing astronaut training and other astounding feats with elegant composure.

  6. Her role on WKRP could have been written as the stereotypical bubble headed dumb blonde, but they made Jennifer extremely smart and sophisticated and a bit mysterious, someone who suffered no fools, yet sweet and sort of motherly to the WKRP crew and Loni played the role to perfection. 💞

  7. WKRP was such an amazing show. The characters were great. It also highlighted Jennifer as the secretary who would have typically been seen as a dumb blonde, as the smartest character on the show.

  8. WKRP was such a cool show. And Loni found fame and sometimes unwanted attention from it. But the good always comes with the bad, doesn't it ?

    Like a shadow.

Now I gotta post a WKRP video. To say goodbye with. :(

  9. I sat at the next table to Loni Anderson in a tiny Italian restaurant in Beverly Hills. I, of course, didn't say anything to her (because one doesn't), but she asked me how I liked my fish. What a pleasant person.

  11. I'm sorry for your personal loss. She stayed in a hotel that I worked at 30 years ago or so and though I didn't get to see her, everyone who worked there who did said she was incredibly kind. And stunning. Like, take-your-breath-away stunning. Rest in Peace. She was a beloved American treasure.

  12. That's sad news. Never met her personally but I always thought she was a positive, decent person. I think the same of Morgan Fairchild .

  15. WKRP was my favorite show. I still have to watch an episode every once in awhile. I was lucky to have run into Howard Hessman and talk to him before he passed. Great guy. I hate seeing the people involved with that show die. I never met Jan Smithers or the others, but I’m glad they r still around.

  16. I'm in shock because a few months ago I rewatched yours and her Christmas movie that was from 2023. I also watched her Documentary about Burt Reynolds. A beautiful woman that I expected to be around until she reached 100.

  17. Oh, no. I loved her. Very sorry to hear she has died. She was so smart. I heard her debate Jerry Falwell about abortion and she destroyed him. And her comedic timing was fantastic. Such a beautiful, talented woman. My condolences to her family and friends. May she rest in peace.

  18. May she RIP. She was a self-proclaimed card carrying member of the civil rights party. It broke my heart to lose even one good soul on this earth.

  19. How sad. WKRP was one of my all-time favorite shows. Each character had such a well drawn personality. Loni is a beautiful part of that memory of laughter and enjoyment.
