Didn't these same problems exist when he was governor? My Premier changed the rental laws to reduce the number of overnight or short term rentals (Air BNB). And had those units put into the long term rental market. Sounds like a start for a forward thinking politician to look into.

Right now, a 2br apt in manhattan is on the housing website for $2095-$2318 a month and you need to earn no more than $168k with assets under $210k.
