  1. I quit FB in 2017 when Australia was holding a marriage equality survey and the disgusting homophobic trolls were unchecked and enabled.

    FB and xTwitter are cesspits.

    Good on you Neil Young.

  2. On July 4th FB permanently disabled my Meta accounts for not complying with their “Community Standards.” No specific reason was cited beyond that. Considering what it’s become (& always was to a degree), I should consider it a blessing. The downside is the lost connections & content.

  3. Good for Neil. I just don’t understand anyone who is willing to use a Zuck platform (or Elmo’s obviously).

  4. Neil deleted his Facebook account 6 years ago. I remember when he did it. He cited FB's sponsorship of the Federalist Society dinner party, backing Kavanaugh, and generally providing false information and shifting further to the right.

  5. Did Meta hire child predators to write their guidelines for how their bot can groom children to be abused? Predators don't start with 'ooh, your curves, I want to touch them'. They start with the comments highlighted to build trust. Abuse survivors recognize groomers. www.reuters.com/investigates...

  6. Why stop at Facebook?

"Instagram, owned by Meta, has integrated AI into its platform, including the "My AI" chatbot. "My AI" can be engaged in conversations by any user, regardless of age, on the platform."
