That is so sad that he is aware of that. One day, our GP who had assured me that he would support me came into the room, sat down and told Gord the whole ugly trajectory of the disease. I despised him from that moment. Gord was very upset but had forgotten why by the time we left the office.
Oh my. That seems harsh alright. We had a real great specialist explain because of 4 strokes there was FL dementia beginning. That was 15 years ago. When he struggles with things I just remind him it’s just the dementia affecting his memories so he accepts limitations better.

You have had a long haul. Gord was diagnosed at about 57 and he was 67 when he died. He didn't know me a lot of the time from 2006.
