this isn't a new thought, but i really, really think one way our laws need to catch up, and fast, is that AI-generated music, art, etc. that is being sold or streamed or on any kind of marketplace or revenue-generating place MUST be clearly disclosed as AI
i'm on the side of it being actual, legally-liable consumer fraud to sell to people the output of AI without actually telling them it's the output of AI. we don't want "less than" without being properly informed. on the other side, we want to pay for real stuff without having to wonder if it's real

let the people who want AI to pay for it, knowing full well it's AI. they are welcome to create a cottage industry or artistic ghetto, whatever the case may be, and live in it. don't fuck things up for the rest of us who still care about human-made work, though. we need to keep the streams separate
