I want to say thank you to everyone who has spoken up on my behalf in this wild situation. I believe people are still receiving DMs claiming I am a zionist, which- FUCK ME, I AM ABSOLUTELY NOT. It was 1am. I was in bed, trying to get to sleep. Doomscrolling. When I made a stupid, mindless mistake in reposting an dumbass meme before immediately noticing the flag pfp. I said something along the lines of "oh fuck no", deleted the repost and began the crawl through their profile to see what they post. But because this person's version of events depicts me as leaving the repost up, I am a zionist. That's it. That's all they have to prove that point. I am grateful that anyone who knows me or at least has been following me for longer than a day, knows I have NEVER expressed zionist or imperialist views. And quite frankly, I don't think anyone could survive in this space long if they really held those disgraceful viewsI wanna make it clear- I'm not bothered by being called out, I'm not bothered by being blocked, I'm not bothered by not being given the benefit of the doubt. It is, however, pretty heartbreaking to be painted as unsafe for marginalised groups based on a REPOST. That will likely stick with me for a while. Lastly, I was pretty close to semi-doxing myself by posting proof of some things ive been involved with to support Palestine. And then I thought... WHY THE FUCK SHOULD I PROVE TO YOU THAT I AM THE ACTIVIST YOU THINK I AM NOT. What matters is that I know what I do, my friends know what I do, I couldnt care less about the misconceptions of a stranger on the internet. You dont listen to reason, you cant stand the fact that you may have been wrong, and ALL of that says more about you than it ever would about me (:
