The timing is so STUPID!!! Right after Dems win all over the country with fresh faces and fresh ideas. And then this old limp dick offers a compromise that was sure to be rejected immediately and so he makes the Democrats look weak and stupid. So after all these weeks, they get nothing, nada, zero.

I didn’t think it was him. I thought it was conservatives in our party I mean, apparently he doesn’t have control of it, but I don’t think they’re in favor of this at all.

By doing so, we have yet another example of the GOP being unwilling to govern. It puts this shutdown squarely on them, again. It was a power play and many of the GOP voters saw it. I am NOT a fan of his, but this was actually good.
