I ship British books to my brother in Britain, and then wait patiently. Except he didn’t bring me all my books, I’ll have to fly to England and get the rest. Not sure how that factors into the money I saved on shipping. These were some good picks on his part, all the same! What do I read first? 😮
I actually just ran a short campaign of Swyvers! Very fun system, but I'm not British, so reading the slang-heavy rulebook was HARD. I had to search online what some phrases meant and translate them for my players. Our party has robbed a noble necromancer house and transported a vampire in a coffin.
I really dislike Blades in the Dark (and FitD in general), so this is the perfect alternative. The rules are quick, but the chapter describing items is loaded with tables with stuff you can spend your money on. No procedures and indie rules. Just spend a few pounds to get exactly 128 chickens.
