2 wks ago, presumably before the above problem, my mom was on phone hold w/ the SSA for >1 hr b4 she could speak to someone to reschedule an in-person appt at her "local" (70 mi away) ofc. This was after she'd gone to an earlier appt at that ofc but got turned away bc she had a temp Driver's Lic. 🚨

I know a bunch of people who work at the SSA headquarters in Woodlawn. Interestingly, they were/are? mostly Trump supporters. Since he started gutting their workplace, it's been crickets from them.

You know what would be cool, If the local office is making a requirement for you to make an appointment, that the number that they give you has the option to make said appointment.
My Office here outside Seattle requires that or expect to sit for 4-6 hours.
