Here's the thing; grooming can happen to anyone at any age, just children and vulnerable adults are more susceptible targets. People might call it different names like "love-bombing" but that is basically grooming – playing on the very human vulnerability of wanting to feel loved unconditionally.

I cannot, for the life of me, figure out why anybody would want to have a conversation with AI. You’re not talking to another consciousness. It doesn’t have a history or an inner life. It literally only exists during the moments when it replies to you. The rest of the time it’s just off.
