7-years-old "news" ? Worth mentioning. He was right, and press were already cowed, in trump#1
The Rogers post is from 2018, & it wasn't this or any single cartoon which got him fired. This happened after a change in the paper's leadership & months of clashes with it. At the time, Rogers hadn't had any (19) cartoons published for 3 months bcs they were critical of Trump. Then he was let go.

Cartoonist Rob Rogers was fired by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette in 2018 after his cartoons skewering Trump were spiked by his editor. “Suppressing voices in any situation is bad,” Rogers told the Guardian in 2018.
