I do like an inheritance tax. Can set it at 5million so no-one can complain without being fairly greedy. House prices slowly dropping is a great idea but taxing homes is not as people often sell their family home to move now have to buy with less. Disincentive to move.
I agree about the inheritance tax, it seems fair, but there are a lot of people sooking about the possibility of super over $3M being taxed.

would be an incredibly easy policy to promote but I doubt Labor will bring in a tax system substantially different from the one the Libs would do. Tinkering for PR will be about it I imagine

Labor's planned reforms to superannuation tax concessions may be being reported as "controversial" but the fact is they are popular.

I've not noticed anyone mention it much. Mainstream media said a bit a while back but I doubt that reflects very many in the community at all
