  1. I think this is all true...but also that the British Establishment thinks that it is the one taking the world-beating, progressive, forward thinking stance, and that when the whole "trans thing" is revealed to be a huge medical malpractice scandal, they'll have been "right all along"

  2. I live in Malaysia, a Muslim majority conservative country where homosexuality is illegal (technically only sodomy is). I get greeted and served by trans women and men every day and nobody comments, 'that's how some people are, carry on'. I do think is some ways it is more progressive than the UK.

  3. Aye. It's literally one of first things I keep pointing out when explaining to unaware people the origins of the anti-trans vendetta:

    "look at all their supposed research, look at all their supposed experts, look at all their funding; it's all the same people, etc from England. ask yourself why."
